Echoes of Art Deco

  1. Rinck x The Guild of Saint Luke, a rediscovered Heritage

This collaboration was born from a rare affinity between two creative worlds.
On one side, Valentin Goux, President and Artistic Director of Rinck; on the other, John Whelan, founder of the London studio The Guild of Saint Luke, renowned for his subtle reinterpretations of decorative heritage.
Both share a deep fascination for the memory of form and the narrative power of design.

From their encounter emerged a creative dialogue, a conversation between Paris and London, between past and present, between wood and metal. This furniture ensemble is presented exclusively at PAD London Design, a landmark event bringing together the world’s leading galleries and design houses.

  2. Setting the Dream of the New Orient Express to Music

A hundred years ago, the Art Deco movement marked the height of a distinctly French art of living. Defined by pure lines and sumptuous materials, it sealed an unprecedented dialogue between architecture, decoration, and craftsmanship.
Today, that spirit is reborn on the rails, through a project both technical and poetic: the New Orient Express, orchestrated by Maxime d’Angeac for the Accor group.

  3. E-RINCK by Rinck x GSL

Born from a creative dialogue between Rinck and The Guild of Saint Luke, this collection offers a modern yet respectful reinterpretation of 1930s Art Deco furniture. Each piece revisits a historic silhouette, infused with bold materials — lacquered wood, brushed metal, high-gloss finishes — while preserving the original sense of balance. A meeting of heritage and avant-garde, conceived for the present.

  4. Reflecting on the 1925 Decorative Arts Exhibition

Leafing through the guide to the 1925 Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes – the International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts – is a very pleasant journey indeed, one that takes you through space and time.

Dedicated to the Art Deco movement, now celebrating its centenary, this new edition of the Journal explores a world dear to Rinck — at the crossroads of heritage and contemporary creation. We sought to weave a continuity between archives and experimentation, between transmission and invention, allowing the voices of yesterday to resonate today.

Through these pages, we celebrate Art Deco not merely as a style, but as an impulse — the desire to confront materials, unite arts and techniques, and inhabit space with mastery and poetry. This edition offers a perspective on a movement that, a century later, continues to vibrate and inspire.

Savoir Faire

Our company – boasting its own production workshops and approaching its second century of operations – brings together many skills specific to French decorative arts. Be it our boiserie and millwork workshops, our furniture and bronze workshops, or our design offices, more than a dozen forms of savoir-faire are expertly practiced at our three sites, each having its own venerable history, a legacy that is further enriched as it is taught by one generation to the next.

Nurtured by 180 years of history, we believe in the perfect mastery of classic ranges, a prerequisite for contemporary design. Our cultivated relationship with the history of the decorative arts is rooted in France's heritage, but resolutely turned towards the world, the meeting of cultures and know-how. Our ambition is to create exceptional interiors that are full of colour, art and life, that blend seamlessly into their surroundings and are perfectly suited to the daily lives of their users.
